What do we do during the Meditation Group sessions?
We will usually be doing two meditations, and have a break in between to share what our experiences have been and do Q&A. I sometimes invite other meditation teachers and creators to the sessions, in which case one of the meditations will be lead by me, and one will be lead by the guest.
As an attendee, you are most welcome to let me know if you would like me to lead a certain type of meditation / meditation on a certain topic.
The sessions usually takes about 40 to 90 minutes.
I'm have organized the meditation group every month in the past, but this frequency might change in the future. If you sign up above, you will get an email once the meditation group sessions start again.
Why is the meditation group temporarily closed?
"The last meditation group session (Jan. 2019) was visited by a lot of beautiful people. I felt like the group was finally gaining some momentum. Life gave what I had asked for. But also... Life often unfolds differently than we expect it.
As I am starting to write my master's thesis now (Feb. 2019, on the interesting topic of care-ethical moral leadership), I find that I need to stop some activities to not get stressed out too much.
The meditation group is one of the activities I have decided to stop for now.
Will the meditation group be back after I have handed in my thesis in June? I'm not sure yet. I'm probably going to live with my boyfriend (whom I haven't seen for a year now) for a few months in noisy Bangalore where he lives and works. Not really a good place for hosting guided meditations. And after that? I might have to find myself a job. Perhaps in the Netherlands, perhaps in Bangalore.
I will continue to post guided meditation videos / life style advice / affirmation songs on my Youtube Channel and website. So you will keep hearing from me from time to time. Just not for the meditation group anymore for at least 4 months.
